Lapua MFI® induction based hardening method

The multifrequency induction hardening system, developed and registered by Lapua Chains. The hardening is performed on company premises in Lapua under the company’s own supervision. This way greater hardening depth and more uniform quality, compared to standard induction hardenings, can be achieved.

Induction based hardening is a quick and affordable hardening method which leaves the inside surface of the bush unhardened. For this reason, it is not recommended in environments which require the ability to withstand heavy loads or which cause wear.
